VES Show and Tell

Next weekend at the Skirball Center in LA, the Visual Effects Society will be presenting a show and tell. Last year I made it, but this year the notice is too soon! If you are available and in the LA area, I highly recommend it.

-Outstanding Visual Effects in a Commercial
-Best Single Visual Effect of the Year
-Outstanding Real Time Visuals in a Video Game
-Outstanding Animated Character in a Live Action Motion Picture
-Outstanding Animated Character in an Animated Motion Picture
-Outstanding Created Environment in a Live Action Motion Picture
-Outstanding Compositing in a Motion Picture

This all day "behind the scenes" event will showcase the artistry and
technology found in this year's VES Awards nominees. The event is FREE for
VES members but you must RSVP to info@visualeffectssociety.com. Also the
public may purchase tickets for $20 each by calling the VES office in
advance at (310) 822-9181.
